This week we will be discussing what Nintendo Switch means for Project Sonic 2017. While the Nintendo Switch is a nice piece of portable hardware, there is a big difference between Nintendo Switch and its competitors when it comes to power. Tune in to hear us talk about what we think the differences between the full game’s graphics will be, if Sonic the Hedgehog games need state of the art graphics and the idea of taking a Sonic the Hedgehog console game on the go. UPDATED: Sonic Mania Confirmed for the Nintendo Switch

UPDATE: The Nintendo Switch version is being co-developed by Tantalus Games according to a Tweet from Christian Whitehead himself.

In addition, the Switch version also has a collector’s edition available for pre-order, at least in America.

Thought to be missing the jump to the new system, Sonic Mania was confirmed by Nintendo’s YouTube and new Switch website and will be coming to the new system this Spring. Alongside Sonic Mania, Puyo Puyo Tetris is finally getting a release outside of Japan, both on the Nintendo Switch and the PlayStation 4. Hit the jump to check out the trailer for Puyo Puyo Tetris.
