O.M.G. That really is insane. How did they get His World as the music? I’m thinking it’s hacked. If someone can prove me wrong though, please do.

Unleashed is custom soundtrack compatible. Even without taking advantage of that feature, you can silence the music in-game. From there, adding music into any video is extremely easy.

You can use your own music in-game? How?

        • Reply

Easy, on XBL, just plug in a media device, go to the music tab in-game or on the Dashboard, then play it. It overlays the game’s music. (except in cutscenes)

I like the part where he boosts

    And I thought I was good at speed-running. :O

Somebody had a lot of time memorizing the level there.

      Or a a few.
      Or a lot.

Look up a few speed runs on this game, and you may be surprised at the glitches and exploits available in there.

This is Score based not Time based like the (wii/ps2)
Since he cut out 3/4 of the level he got a low score but high time bonus. (Why, he has an A)

cant i have any fun? lol, jk

Definitely not hacked. Just a bunch of glitch exploits. Which means that some people spent  a LOT of time finding ways to lower their time…

I can confirm that quick-stepping against a wall will speed you up, though. Tried and true. And oddly, sometimes rapidly jumping and stomping.

Cool run, but that awful theme needs to be drowned in a sink.

No, it needs a cat to sing it, then we tie it up in a bag and throw it off the cliff, where it will break a wire on the way… oh no, it’s grinding on the wire. Oh, well, it’s gone now.

WAIT A GOD DAMN MINUTE WHAT VERSION OF HIS WORLD IS THAT?!

I’ve never heard of that version and it’s glorious, holy shit.

    Also, my jaw has dropped PRETTY fucking far. Japs always gotta be the best. ;_;

    I came.

And this is pretty much why I hated Unleashed. Bland levels and too fucking fast.

    • Reply

How the hell can Sonic be TOO fast?

The speed is exactly why I LIKED Unleashed.   It literally feels like you’re going the speed of sound.

1:15 I saw that rail coming in. I was like…

    “…no way.”

  • Reply

Wait, why does he constantly look like he’s “floating” above the ground or something? And badass speed runner or not, boost does NOT make you go that fast. Something’s up

    • Reply

Actually, yes it does, but only when you’re drifting at the same time.

    Fastest thing alive indeed. O_O
Reminds me of those TASes of Sonic Advance and whatnot. Fun! I do love speedruns.

This is Sonic Unleashed as we truly imagined it.

WOW, that is what I call “Super Sonic racing”! Something looks slightly fishy about how fast Sonic was going from boosts &c, but that was amazing. Makes me wanna to play Sonic Unleashed someday soon, since I have never played it yet. (My brother owns the game, but there is only a savesgame limit of 1?)

BTW, hi n00neimp0rtant, I haven’t seen you in awhile (I’ve seen you at MMI and here)!

The reason why the boost seems weird is because if you combine boosting with drifting, you get a rather significant speed boost, as well as with quick-stepping into a wall, whether you’re boosting or not.

Now, i understand the “invisible walls” in sonic colors…
