Mike Pollock didn’t seem to have any idea that this movie had Eggman in it. Either Eggman lacks a speaking role, or my inner SatAM fanboy is hoping for Jim Cummings to reprise his role.
They got a different voice actor for Zangief, so they probably got other voice actors for the other cameos too. So if Eggman speaks it won't be Mike Pollock doing the voice.

Nowadays, I don’t care for the news, I care for the tags. Those can be the most hilarious things of this website.

This looks like it could be interesting. And while it’s a shame Mike Pollock won’t be doing Robotnic’s voice if he speaks, it does seem like it could be good.
If Mike isn’t doing his voice, I sure hope they find someone just like the VA for Adventure 1/2 (RIP). He had this voice that made him REALLY sound like a villain. Don’t get me wrong, Mike sounds like that cunning but light-hearted villain, I kinda like it.

To be honest, I probably won’t watch it because of Disney being part of the MPAA, or MAFIAA if you include the RIAA, and the MPAA lobbying for uber-restrictive SOPA style laws and treaties that would effectively allow the traditional media industries to pass these types of laws with Congress’ hands tied in terms of copyright reform.
But on the other hand, I would watch it if it looks good and gives off that Who Framed Roger Rabbit vibe, but if it isn’t I ain’t watching it. Just saying.

The whole idea just reeks of EPIC. ^o^ Should be hilarious; can’t wait to read the reviews on it after this film hits theaters.
Surprised to see Zangief in a villain support group, though. What makes him evil? Sure, the guy wrestles bears from time to time, but that’s just for fun. =P

You know why Zangief is with the villains? Because everybody knows bears are evil. Everything’s worse with bears [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EverythingsWorseWithBears?from=Main.ptitleeyyr8ln8spjv], as you well know. And Zangief wrestles with them. Thus, he is meaner than a bear, and thus, a bad guy.

That is amazing. Bowser and Eggman are officially a part of the Disney Canon. I can’t get over this.
Although…If there is ONE thing to nitpick (c’mon, it’s Retro), it would be that they’re not using the classic model. I mean, think about it – it’s a Toy Story-esque take on video games, depicting characters that people have grown up on, and it has a more arcade-centered approach so it’s going to have a more “classic” style influence. Plus, it’d be a neat subtle throwback that Naoto Ohshima had Disney as one of his influences in early designs – you could say it’d go full circle, and it’s not like Sega hasn’t used Classic Eggman recently.
Other than that, of course I’m looking forward to it!

In response to Jaeger’s post, I have to say that thought never crossed my mind! I always pictured Zangief as a fun-loving soviet who just couldn’t find a competent equal on his own turf, so he had to resort to wrestling and training with bears, I assumed. xD Still one of my favorite characters in SSFII either way, even if he is meaner than your average bear.

the average child in the New Age of CAPCOM rehashes: kid:
mommy who is that old man on Bowsers right?
mom: thats Dr Wiley
kid: who?
mom: *facepalm* this is the youth in a nutshell because CAPCOM pays no attention to Megaman and just rehashes Street Fighter and Resident Evil and also trolls “new” megaman games by cancelling them and anouncing a rehash soon after cancellation

I can’t imagine why Mike Pollock wouldn’t be voicing Eggman, since he is the Doc’s official VA. Disney must’ve had quite a hassle getting all the rights from Nintendo, Sega, and Capcom just to USE their characters. So what would the point be if they didn’t get their VAs? Its not like you see Mario and Sonic, let alone Eggman and Bowser, having official cameos in non-game related content everyday.

Disney hated Commies, thus he hated Soviets.
