I’m gonna be honest with you guys. The archie sonic comics may have some well made art (I actually hope for some more different, abstract and unique art styles in this comic).

But I personally hated every story (plot-wise) in it since they started taking themselves seriously.

It used to be awesome when it was the light-hearted, funny, joke-cracking stuff from the “golden” age where Sonic had a belly and wasn’t trying to hard to be cool.

You did see Sonic fighting Segata Sanshiro, right?

Listen, I was once like you. I hated the direction Archie Sonic took in the early 2000s, but since Ian Flynn and Tracy Yardley came along the series has been a much better mix of comedy and drama and the art has been both on model AND its own unique style. I really do not see them going so far off model that we get some bizarre art styles. Have you seen some of the old issues that tried to go for a unique style? They looked awful.

If the series had remained light hearted and joke cracking as it was for the first 20 issues, it would have never survived to this day. Look at Sonic Boom comics, those are all humor and it has been tough to keep following it with little to no meat of a plot.

@Barry The Nomad Personally Archie Sonic Should’ve Included The American Badass Undertaker As A Starring Character In The Archie Sonic Universe Just To See How They Would React To Him Also Give Him His Own Comics With A Plot Based On The Events Of WWF In 2000

It’s not quite Eggman and Wily on a tandem bike, but Zero getting a ponytail is a pretty good cover too.
