Tuesday Links: TGS Happened Edition

original-600x375

So either because not much was shown this year or because everyone is playing GTA V, I don’t think anyone noticed that TGS happened last week. But even though nobody cares anymore, SEGA still had a decent showing at the event. With them showing the first gameplay footage of Yakuza Ishin and Puyo Puyo Tetris. Also they bought Atlus and now everything is ruined for people in western countries who want Atlus games.

I… wow. I didn’t expect anyone to care about an alpha release, let alone have it make the front page. Thanks, guys.

And here I thought Mighty #9 is gonna get the full fund before Shantae Half-Genie Hero.

This new Puyo Puyo Tetris game looks fun, and I quite Enjoyed Dr Mario Tetris on the SNES, I may pick this one up if it comes out in the west though it’s a slim chance, after all the better Puyo Puyo games (15th Anniversary, 7, and 20th Anniversary) were Japan exclusive though I did have my share of them and they were worth every money I paid!

Like SEGA needed yet another fighting series, they already got Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers, and Bleach.

Mighty No. 9 was fully funded one day after the Kickstarted was put up, Shantae got to it’s goal a lot slower.

@Timmit hmm… I didn’t know that, good to know *writes down both games in his to-get list on PS3 along with Puyo Puyo Tetris and Batman Arkham Origins*
