SEGA just announced that the Sonic Generations Casino Night Zone pinball stage console users could have gotten as a pre-order bonus will be released as DLC for the Steam version. While PC gamers haven’t been able to play the stage yet (at least, not officially), they will be from December 26th, which is when it will be released for USD $1.59, GBP £0.99, EUR €1.59 or AUD $2.99 depending on where you live. Here is a video of the stage played on the Xbox 360 (courtesy of Youtube user AestheticGamer):

Also announced are PS3 dynamic themes and Xbox Live Avatar items themed after the same game. The PS3 themes have either modern or classic Sonic (depending on which theme you buy) doing a pose on Green Hill zone, which has the sunflowers spinning and the waterfall moving in the background. These will be available later today in Europe when the Playstation Store updates for £1.59/€1.99 each. Meanwhile Xbox Live users will get a variety of costumes for their Avatar with Super Sonic, Classic Sonic and Classic Amy respectively (for 240 points each) as well as a t-shirt (160 points) and cap (80 points) with the Sonic Generations logo on them tomorrow when the Xbox Live Marketplace updates. Pictures and videos of the goodies can be found here.

So wait, only Steam gets the DLC? Cause I didn’t get Special Edition, and I want it!
Hopefully, this starts more DLC coming in too, as in the White-Time Space, I can see empty spots like Casino Night was! Hopefully we get Omega, Classic Amy, Classic Knux… maybe even Big or Jet as they have models in game!

Oh, and what happened to Slingerland’s quote of “Other characters are playable as skins for Sonic”?

    Well sega.
Now create full reimagined ice cap, sandopolis or another awesome zone and take my instant money

It looks pretty fun, but I’m disappointed that they didn’t use the classic sound effects for the bumpers. *BING BING BING*

Really SEGA did a decent care for PC users. I hoping for more DLCs 🙂

A pity it’s not a full level in the PS360/PC, Casino Night is one of my favorite stages. Looks pretty fun anyway, and I love the remixed music 😀

Anyone else thinking of Casinopolis when you see the pictures?

The problem is that this isn’t additional. They are just essentially porting something that already exists. So it doesn’t mean that DLC is coming

You have to wonder… Sonic has been hitting his head on soooo many things in the past. Now he’s on a pinball table, so all those bumpers are knocking him around everywhere–more-so than the original Casino Night! You’d think the hedgehog would get a concussion by now, right?

Stop the presses here so i basically wasted $40 USD here to get a $1.50 dlc ? come on sega for as short as the game was i could have rented it on day one and then bought here it last friday at half price and saved money to get 3 other games also on sale. if they dont release more DLC then im never pre ordering a game from SEGA again.
Thats Crazy and i agree with others on here that there is space in the white world for more levels and i really wish that they would put more levels in like they did with Sonic Unleashed where they made you buy 6 Dlc packs to get like 20 stages or so here this is nuts that i wasted so much money to get what i got for a preorder bonus of only totaling here at $3.00 they can keep the one XMB wallpaper it looks like garbage and the other one is so hard to read the text with it

if there’s any future DLC i think 3 of the levels will have Big, Omega, and Jet to rescue since they’re in the trophy room, here’s how i think they’ll do it, Big might come with a stage from Secret Rings because he made several cameo appearences in that game similar to how Cream is in Speed Highway because of her cameos in the DX upgrade of SA1, Omega might come with a stage from Shadow The Hedgehog because of his appearences there and they can’t add another Heroes level, and Jet will come with a Black Knight level because of his appearence in the multiplayer and Sega doesn’t seem to care for adding stages from the spinoff titles, i also hope they release downloadable songs for the game, i was a bit bummed that there were no tracks from Fighters
