Over the last few months, we’ve seen glances of the bosses we’ll be facing in a few weeks when Sonic Generations launches. These include the likes of series rivals Metal Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog, as well as bigger bads Dr. Eggman (in a giant mecha) and the mildly perturbed water god, Perfect Chaos.
So leave it to Sega to rattle the hype hive one more time by showing off every single boss in the game in a new trailer, revealing the full new look for Perfect Chaos (now more armored than before) and the final mecha from Sonic Unleashed, the Egg Dragoon, now redone to suit the fact it’s not plunging into the core of the planet. In fact, the arena looks a little more like his intro video area.
And if that wasn’t enough, stick around until the end of the trailer…

Wow……Well nice to see that it has been confirmed, no Super Sonic versus perfect Chaos. Also, really nice to see ARK in all it’s glory. TBH, it looks more of a mix of S3K’s DEZ and ARK. Also, a giant cloud…..A GIANT FUCKING CLOUD is the Final boss…..this should be fun.

From the looks of it, it seems Perfect Chaos was tinkered with by either Eggman or the Time Eater. I mean, that thing on Chaos’s head was never there before, and the pulsating green was never there. Maybe that’s why he looks different.
The lack of Classic fights is disappointing, but honestly expected. I was hoping to see him get the chance to fight a Modern Boss, but eh, I’m not complaining.
And Time Eater… Wow. Epic.

Perfect Chaos looks crappy. He looked better in SA. Yes the dreamcast version. And a cutscene a full fledged cutscene. Nt a boss intro? YAY! Anyways 3DS needs to be more like this. No Sonic Colors DS cutscenes please.

I think Perfect Chaos looks way more awesome than before. Even more awesome than in the opening CG of Sonic Adventure. I don’t know about Eggman or Time Eater messing with him.. They probably just revamped Chaos’ design to make him look better. Makes sense when you look at his design. Green pulsating throughout his body = Chaos Emerald.. or Master Emerald energy, maybe? The thing on his head could just be the new way of attacking him. His brain was inside his head in the original, but that’s completely armored now, so maybe they put it on top of his head instead. Also.. Egg Dragoon looks like its on Eggman’s mother ship from his space fleet in Sonic Unleashed.. That looks AWESOME.

Also, I’m really disappointed they didn’t show any gameplay of the Shadow battle. They only showed the cutscene we’ve already seen, and like.. 1 second of Sonic jumping onto another piece of runway with Shadow in front of him.

I actually quite like the redesign of Perfect Chaos, and I have to say any previous doubts have now been laid to rest about him.
And the Time Eater…*shivers* Oohhoohoo, there’s a story behind HIM, and I can’t wait to hear it.

I am sincerely hooked on the new revamped design of Perfect Chaos. I was afraid that the water texture would just be completely replaced by scales, but looking at it now, it works out, and it helps resemble that old water texture from the Sonic Adventure DC. Some places along his body, the energy that is pulsating through him makes sense to me, he still has tentacles that come off him that are actually formed from the water. The way he’s animated looks incredible. Though on a side note, he reminds me of Godzilla in a way.

I agree, it looks incredible. Not keen on the color of the energy, Cyan would fit much better, but anyway. A side note, I'd much rather had his eyes glowing the the same energy that's flowing his body, it looks eye-less like it is now.
