I think something might be off with Big Arm, that track is just the YouTube video’s audio looped/extended. You can still hear the jumping, ring, and other SFX’s in the BG.

    • sonicblare99 says:

yeah, but the second and third (fourth?) verses have different parts in the chorus.

  • xcliber says:

I demand a live version of Big Amrs.

  • Skyler says:

Awesome, but is there any chance we could get these in 320?

  • Jaytonic says:

AWESOME! THANKS YOU GUYS! YOU JUST COMPLETED MY WEEKEND!

  • goodbye18000 says:

Big Arms remix = guitariffic sex

  • Coolblue says:

    Lovin’ Big Arm’s theme.

  • djohe says:

These are amazing and changing drum beat on MHZ automatically amazing… The Big Arms one reminds me of the Project Chaos album’s SnappleMan – Malicious Fingers

  • PreStalnic says:

When I heard that Big Arm remix, I literally jizzed in my pants. It was godly!

  • FTA says:

While the Mushroom Hill track is awesome, the Big Arm track is clearly ripped from a gameplay video, so not really a ‘world exclusive’. Mushroom Hill sounds incredible though, one
of the best remixes I’ve heard for this game so far.

  • nesdude says:

Oh man. That Big Arm solo… oh man. Awesome. Thanks for these!

  • wazkatango says:

    Pretty kick-awesome.

  • Overlord says:

PS – To everyone who’s saying this is a rip of a Youtube video – I assure you, it isn’t. Try listening to the whole thing the whole way though and you’ll hear the new section.

    • FieraDevilWings says:

What I’m sure of is that it’s a direct feed from someone who deliberately stalled out the boss to record this for us!

  • Cookie says:

How did you guys get those? The music is awesome! However, why are there SFX in the Big Arm music? Was that a rip of a video or gameplay hack?

  • W.A.C. says:

Too bad the music on console games rarely sound anywhere as good as that Big Arms remix. Fucking epic remix.

  • will says:

and here i thought it was going to be a stage reveal

  • null1024 says:

    I love how MHZ sounds.
Big Arm is pretty nice, but I’m not feeling it nearly as much. Especially the synthy square wave, that sounds odd. The synth guitar is sex though.

  • Miles3298 says:

The jumping/ring/etc sound effects completely ruin Big Arm for me. Other than those being needlessly there, it’s awesome. Mushroom Hill is perfect.

  • PhotonTH says:

Awwwww mam i wanted to hear tge special stage thanks though ive been dying to hear these

  • My ears… In just one weekend, five new Generations pieces..~!
I LOVE YOU SEGA SOUND TEAM

  • Unknown says:

    Big Arm remix <3

  • AJBSONIC says:

Anyone else hear the opening guitar lick of Big Arm and instantly think of No More Heroes?? Anyway, props to Sega for turning the S3 Final Boss theme from something I was never thrilled with into a song I now love.

And that Mushroom Hill remix? Amazing!!

  • Aquaslash says:

Aww snap son! Rocking out so hard to these

  • Nuzamaki90 says:

People, before you keep going on and on about the Big Arm mix being from gameplay, listen past the first 30 seconds or so, then you’ll realize this is the real shit.

The solo made me jizz (5 times)

  • Aquaslash says:

The things I miss when I play WFC. This is a very awesome find

  • teirusu says:

i am dissapointed about the big arm music but mushroom hill is cool

  • RayAndFlare says:

Holy crap…that solo in the Big Arm track is just amazing! and to believe that’s just the first boss.

  • Ananze says:

The Big Arm ripping of the song could had been better if it didn’t include the SFX, but the song itself is CROWNING REMIX OF AWESOME! This seriously gives Project Chaos’s remix a run for it’s money!
The Mushroom Hill remix is pretty good too, and has only one SFX sound (near the end).

  • Apparently I am the only one not liking the Big Arm theme at all.

  • Jaeger says:

Mushroom Hill is almost exactly the same as the original, thank God.

  • TimmiT says:

The Big Arms music makes it clear that it was recorded from a demo unit. Still, it’s nice to hear the full version. Thanks.

  • Relick says:

I goddamn wish the xbox/ps3 version gets a Final Boss mix too.

    • Trogdorbad says:

The console versions will be getting Sonic 2′s Final Boss music, as well as Open Your Heart (presumably). The Death Egg boss has already been officially revealed, and Perfect Chaos was on the stage list when they hacked the Classic Green Hill demo and got all the textures and such. That was where we all learned and baaaaaaaw’d about Sky Sanctuary and had much joy over Metal Sonic, with everyone hoping it would be Sonic CD Metal Sonic. Which it was. So it can be assumed that we’ll be getting a new version of Open Your Heart with Perfect Chaos.

  • LIGHTXIII says:

Sega brilliant remixs! People play The Big Arm (aka Doomsday music version 1, cuz their two versions you know) while fighting Mecha Sonic or Super Giant Robo because this new remix makes those epic battles even better. I want the 3DS version simply for the music.

    • Riddle says:

You’re really assuming your opinion as everyone else’s opinions?

    • LIGHTXIII says:

All I’m saying is people should try fighting Mecha Sonic with the Big Arms music playing because it makes the fight that much better

    • Riddle says:

Well, to me, it makes the fight sucks. So what? Your opinion doesn’t apply to everybody.

    • LIGHTXIII says:

Correct it is opinion and I know it doesn’t apply to everyone. I’m just giving my opinion what’s the problem here? I like the remixs and you don’t and that’s perfectly ok. Agree to disagree.

    • Riddle says:

You’re exposing your opinion as a fact. Simply that. No need to make yourself the victim now….

    • LIGHTXIII says:

Well I felt it made the battles better, so in a way it is fact. But I just likethe remixs. Let me enjoy the remixs leave my comments alone I say lol lol.

  • superstartop says:

im probably in the minority here, but i think these suck. big arm is nowhere near as good as project chaos and mushroom hill is worse than the original. still stoked for the game, maybe the soundtrack will grow on me!

  • Senzune says:

The Big Arm music.. awesome at first, just like the first gameplay video, but when I got to the part with the original melody.. damn. They managed to screw it up after all. I hope this isn’t the case for Sky Sanctuary. The transition where Sonic homes in on the enemies, where the music part starts when Sonic is back in Green Hill Zone homing in on the bee, obviously there needs to be a part of music that accounts for the drop in tone to make the song continuous, and I can only hope they manage to stay true to the original with that transition.

    • TheBlueBadger says:

I thought the solo in Big Arm was pretty good, and even if you don’t like it, the boss fight’s so short it’ll be sead before it gets to that bit

  • Sheldon says:

Does Mushroom Hill sound like its being played on a 32x system to anybody? lol

  • sonictopfan says:

cool tracks even though the sound effects ruined them a bit!

  • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRkL2vCUP6c Jun Senoue’s performance at TGS’11. Clean, great quality, Chemical Plant/Seaside Hill/Rooftop Run Modern featured.

    You’re welcome!

  • man says:

Out of curiosity (and I expect the answer is “it’s still the same), but can anyone who has had the chance to play the TGS demo tell me if jumping on enemies rebounds you at a fixed height still?

  • Sacooper95 says:

Ahh, Big Arm, Now if only we could hear a SEGA version of Modern Doomsday Zone ;) I wonder what it would be like if SEGA attempted to add lyrics to some of these songs :D

  • N/A says:

Great, Wonder how long til we can listen to the full Sky Sanctuary track!

  • That_Guy says:

Awesome the Squeeze Tag Machine, and Mushroom Hill Zone music. love it

  • Chris K. says:

    Man… Sonic Retro is sucking in updates compared to Sonic Stadium… Pick it up you guy’s. ^_^;

  • Phoenix says:

    GAH
the bass on mushroom hill KEEPS GOING ONE NOTE SHARP.

  • Bonehead says:

Mushroom Hill sounds pretty cool actually, wonder how the modern will sound. Meanwhile, Big Arm.. good lord, they murdered a good theme.. The synth guitar sounds pretty awful. Some of the synth is a bit too wobbly but the synth solo’s pretty cool. Really though, Sega, improve the synth guitars already and make the synths less wobbly. We’re facing Big Arm here, not a dubstep rave.

    • FieraDevilWings says:

      …you call THAT Dubstep?
In another point, just gotta ask – do you know who actually made that remix? (Hint, look at Sonic Colours)

    • Riddle says:

Tomoya Ohtani, Hideaki Kobayashi or Naofumi Hataya?

Well, this remix looks more like something from Jun Senoue.

    • FieraDevilWings says:

Haven’t you heard, either? Apparently the reason it’s in this style is because it’s actually by one of the guys from Cash Cash (you know, Sonic Colours) – Alex Makhlouf!

    • Riddle says:

Really? but the song just sounds too good to be his.

  • GreenEmeralds says:

Although clearly the Big Arms song is ripped from gameplay recording, that has got to be the best remix I’ve ever heard. The guitar riff at 2:18 has got to be my favorite guitar riff in a Sonic game I’ve ever heard. Truly. And this isn’t even high quality sound!
