New York Comic Con Goers Get Exclusive Sonic Comic Cover

The Sonic Genesis arc of Archie’s comic book series is nearing its close as Sonic and the Freedom Fighters are gunning toward a showdown with Dr. Eggman aboard his Death Egg. For fans of the comic book, this has no doubt been an exciting ride that Ian Flynn has been putting readers through. To make it even more special, those that are attending New York Comic Con can get a special convention exclusive cover for Sonic #229, as well as a Mega Man: Powered Up inspired cover for Mega Man #6.

The exclusive cover, seen below courtesy of IGN Comics, is a line art version of the normal cover featuring Super Sonic. For those interested in attending, New York Comic Con lasts from Oct. 13 to Oct. 17. Who knows, you might be able to make the cover more special by getting the signatures of cover artist Patrick “Spaz” Spaziante and Flynn himself!

Sweet. I’ll definitely be picking this up.

Does anyone know if SEGA’s gonna be there again this year? I mean, they may be, but I double checked the floorplan and don’t see them at all.

Haven’t followed the comics since one of the 100 issues, but I must say, that is quite sick.

I gotta be honest, the only reason the comic’s been as good as it has is because they lowered the bar so much recently.

Gonna suck to have it go, I was into them for awhile, but not anymore, but you don’t see Spiderman comics just ending, it’s just too bad

It’s cool, I already saw those on IGN. Nice articles, by the way. They could use a little more linkage to us if you’re going to be wiring them like that. =P
