Yesterday, Sega released a trailer for its upcoming compilation of Gunblade NY & LA Machineguns Arcade Hits Pack for the Wii. Exciting stuff if you’re a fan of shooters. However, we couldn’t help but notice an ad for a certain game being shown:

Clearly, the power of Sonic and the Black Knight is enough to create a hole in time all the way back to 1995. Special thanks to Bartman for pointing this out.

    Yea, that’s pretty odd O_o

  • …Huh. They did some graphics tinkering, I see. Wonder what else they’ve changed?

    This is the part where someone tells Sega the reason no one bought Black Knight was because of how utter shit it was. No advertising will change that.

    Awesome…I love Sonic & The black Knight :D

  • d1337r says:

    Yep, the first video of the real arcade I found had a Coca-Cola ad instead of Sonic and the Black Knight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIypke3T0k8).

  • Speeding Hedgehog says:

    They probably had to change it due to copyright. Makes sense. At least their not advertising Sonic ’06!

  • ShadowPhantom says:

    That’s awesome! I love Sonic and the Black Knight!

    Blame Silver for this:

    point number 1 says it all.

    SatBK = Underrated

    Only a whiney fan would whine about an advertisement for a game that seen probably for only a fraction of a second would complain how its *infecting* a game.

    Useless news.

      You’re right.
      Come on guys, for the love of Mario, it’s just a poster, Gunblade’s still an awesome game.
