Destructoid has an article up over here proclaiming the reasons why Sonic 4 will suck – essentially it’s a piss-take on the nitpicky little things that some have been complaining about Sonic 4 that will make zero difference to the game in general, everything from eye-colour to Robotnik/Eggman’s naming argument. Go and take a look, but remember to take it with a large helping of salt. =P

It’s funny to a degree, but Jim Sterling has this problem with people criticizing anything regarding Sonic the Hedgehog 4. I wouldn’t be surprised if he actually believes retro fans are actually like what he’s satirizing. This makes sense considering that he seems to be very fond of the Sonic Advanced games while most classic fans think the Advanced series were “okay” at best.
While I understand he left out most of the legitimate complaints about Sonic 4 out because, well, they’re legitimate and thus hard to turn into satire, I’d like to see a podcast with a Sonic 4 debate between him and someone like Slingerland or something. I know who I’ll root for. KOBE!

I know its a just joke poking fun at sonic 4 but I don’t think it’s a legitimate topic to argue about, seriously, graphics could matter less, i mean come on, have any of you played games on systems such as the Atari 2600? its less than 8 bit and most of the games are excellent given the systems limited capabilities. so my point is graphics shouldn’t matter regardless of what series it is.

Sega doesn’t have to re-release the same game over and over again if they don’t want to, thats why they’ve been striving to provide performance in other ways… The only Reason Sonic 4 will suck is because of the FANS and the PLAYERS that have no freaking clue how to play Sonic 4.
Why is everyone fighting? Is there some inside joke I’m missing? Didn’t anyone read the article? It’s obviously parody. I mean, come on! He listed Sonic as both too slow and too fast!
