Today, in honor of the recent release of Splash Hill screenshots and music, we’ve got a pair of remixes (holy shit, already?). This first one is a modern twist on the latest obligatory green zone by remixing it in the style of the Adventure games or Sonic Heroes:
Reminds me of Seaside Hill, so big ups on this one. Seaside Hill is my joint.
This next remix of Green Hill: Part 7,000 is by none other than Gecko Yamori. His interpretation is of the classic variety, using the 16-bit sounds found within the Genesis/Mega Drive:
Once again, I am personally wowed at how fan remixes have been making the Sonic 4 songs catchy. I guess I just find the choice of instruments obnoxious in the official tracks, especially the synth. That’s just me, though, so what do you guys think about the official music and these remixes?

I think theyre awesome
ok that 16 bit version is awesome, i love the bass in it. sounds so much more like a classic sonic song than the official version
Better than the original!
nice, but I do think Tweaker’s guitar cover of splash hill zone was better, the rest sounded way cooler.
i think the original is a little better but that’s just me
That second one is exactly how Sonic 4 should sound!
Wow,this is so nice, both arrangements sound great!
that second one certainly is how sonic should sound! I seriously couldn’t agree more!
I never really saw the big deal with the second one. The original sounds better.
Gecko Yamori’s remix is definitely awesome as hell and is what I would imagine a true 16-bit Sonic the Hedgehog 4 song to sound like.
Sega should have hired the guy who did the remix on the 16-bit rendition with Genesis sounds, something about it has more of a zing to it like Green Hill, Emerald Hill and Angel Island did
When titles start to suck, why don’t companies bring in fans that know what they’re doing to help get the series back on track, since the company obviously doesn’t know what they’re doing anymore.
Eh, I don’t think the original was bad. Actually, I really like it.
Remixes are great too though.
I like the rock remix the best. It’s awesome!
Let me get 16 bit version is for sonic 4 Genesis edition

Wow the fan one is the way to go, they way this game is headed even if its an epic fail it’ll get remade by the community in a heartbeat.
