In a spur of the moment decision, the Sonic Retro podcast crew decided to get together last Saturday for a Sonic Retro podcast special focusing around discussion of the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 4. Participants this time around include Tweaker, InstantSonic, Spexfox, JackSkellinghog, Slingerland, Aquaslash, Katzu Niku, and David the Lurker. We’re a bit late for making the Super Bowl, but Instant was a bit sick and needed to eat more RINGS.
A bit of a heads up–this one is a bit longer than the most, clocking in at about two hours. Also, my sound quality sucks this time around for no good reason. Sorry about that! Hopefully you enjoy our extensive coverage of the things on the table right now when it comes to Sonic 4; we tried to cover as many elements of the game as possible, though an obvious classic bias would be expected from Sonic Retro. ;P

Okay… so it gets better as it goes on. But seriously, you’re talking about Sonic the Hedgehog. It just makes it sound more immature than it already is when you do that XD

Sgt. Tim says: Man, the part where you guys flip your fucking lids over Eggman/Robotnik was annoying and lame as hell. That’s not even the biggest concern with Sonic 4. Stop yelling.
Danielle says: Pleeeeeease every week or at least when new news is released. I am dying to see what you lot think bout the leaked footage.
Gerard says: There were a lot of interesting points and arguments here. The only problem is, Tweaker is annoying as hell and constantly yells and cuts people off. Exile that idiot and you have the makings of a fine show. ;)
Some Dude's Hand says: I do beleive that Sonic 4 should be called Sonic 5, as Sonic and Knuckles is technically the fourth Sonic game, but as S&K is a continuation of Sonic 3… not making a point or anything, just saying.
You guys get really into the arguments … quite amusing! PS. About the Robotnik/Eggman thing. Let it go!
